[ozMagic Member Posting] Police Magazine Scam targeting entertainers..

Hi all,

I've just received a phone call trying to solicit payment for an
advertisement in the "Police Scene Diary" that goes out to all police
officers aroung Queensland.

I am 99% certain this is a scam as it happened to me two years ago and when
challenged they quickly hung up.

The woman identifies herself as Gina Heart, she tells you are wonderful and
that you can get an EXCLUSIVE ad in their yearly diary for $150.

You have to pay there and then over the phone.

Normally they call from an unlisted number. This time they called from 0401
097 279. Check the number if you receive a call.

If it is legitimate, then tell her I apologise. I tried reporting it to
police but it all became too hard.
